AVONDALE, Pennsylvania (January 6TH, 2014) To-Jo Mushrooms announced today that they were recently awarded “Best Overall Mushroom Display” at the 2014 Pennsylvania Farm Show held in Harrisburg, PA over the weekend.  To-Jo finished 1st in six of the nine Specialty/Brown Mushroom categories including best 4 oz. Shiitakes, and best 6 oz. Portabella’s to help seal the victory.  The event attracts over 400,000 attendees to the PA Expo Center every year, and is the largest indoor agricultural event in America.

Capturing the coveted title is a testament to the time and effort To-Jo puts into growing only the freshest, highest quality White, Portabella, and Specialty Mushrooms. The team worked tirelessly in preparation for the event and the results speak for themselves.

Anthony D’Amico, To-Jo’s President added, “So proud of our staff and the efforts that went in to this victory.  To compete in this show and win against the best in the business is truly an honor.   We lead in all but three of the Specialty Divisions, and we hope we can defend our title for years to come”.
